Aaron Nola promoted to AAA.If the Phillies truly do start to contend in 2-3 years there are very few on roster now that would actually be a part of it. Franco would be the only position player likely to be a starter. Rupp and Herrera have a decent chance. But Asche, Brown, Galvis, Hernandez, and Revere I only see as role/part time players if they are even on the team anymore. As for pitchers Hamels, Giles, and DeFratus are likely to still be contributors. Yet many call for Hamels trade. If there is a great offer then, yes! If not hang on to him. There is help on the way from minors unfortunately most of that help is 2 or more years away.
AAA team is 19 games under 500 while the Phils are 20 games under. Nola will get use to losing prior to promotion to big leagues
Ironpigs are void of talent just like parent club.
20 plus innings and no runs
i wasn't expecting anything and so far this phillies team is worse than i expected
Amaro should be ashamed, but he's as smug as ever. He has ruined the Phillies. The fact that he still holds down a job is a slap in the face of hard working Americans.
Hey(｡･∀･)ﾉﾞI'm new here~~Play Archeage?Follow 2archeageArcheage Gold ------ Cheap Archeage Gold
Archeage girl, we need that gold to pay Howards contract. CMR lol
Phillies have scored only 3 runs in last 47 innings, and lost 17 of last 20 games. All part of Amaro' s plan.
going to the game in Bmore tonight!! Super excited to be the only Phillies fan out there in the thunderstorms cheering on this bunch of scrubs. Yay!
I bet they score some runs today.
Haven't seen batters hit more home runs since Ramon Henderson pitched to Bobby Abreu in the 2005 Home Run Derby allowing 41 homers. #Williams & McGowan
Complete and utter shit. Just terrible. Worst team in baseball by far. They are the punchline of every joke MLB related. Going to set records for ineptitude.
Phillies now have double the amount of losses as they do wins (22-44) and have a run differential of (-111). Out of 107 qualified pitchers, Jerome Williams' ERA ranks 106th (6.43) and WHIP ranks 107th (1.70). Frankly, he's the worst pitcher in baseball.
Out of 167 qualified batters, Chase Utley's average ranks 166th (.183) and OPS ranks 166th (.550). WTF?!
