Needs Improvement:
*The Phillies are the worst team in baseball.  They have the worst record (22-44) on pace for a full record of 54-108.  They have the worst offense, averaging only 3 runs scored per game, which translates into 486 over a full season.

*Out of 107 qualified pitchers, Jerome Williams' ERA ranks 106th (6.43) and WHIP ranks 107th (1.70). Frankly, he's the worst pitcher in baseball.

*Out of 167 qualified batters, Chase Utley's average ranks 166th (.183) and OPS ranks 166th (.550).  Essentially, he's the worst everyday player in baseball.

*Out of 324 pitchers to have pitched 20+ innings this season, the Phillies have 4 pitchers ranked in the bottom 20 for ERA/WHIP: Jerome Williams 6.43/1.70 (308th/310th), Jake Diekman 6.75/2.02 (316th/323rd), Dustin McGowan 6.94/2.10 (319th/324th), and David Buchanan 8.76/1.91 (324th/322nd).

*Out of 1078 position players, the Phillies have 3 guys in the bottom 10 in terms of WAR: Grady Sizemore -1.0 (1068th), Chase Utley -1.1 (1072nd), and Cody Asche -1.1 (1073rd).

Clearly this team needs improvement in every facet of the game.  I recommend some legal performance boosters- Supps R Us offers different kinds of protein shakes.  Maybe some extra protein will get these weaklings playing better.

Giving the nod to Galvis over Hardy was difficult. Same with O'Sullivan over Chuck's nephew Bud Norris.

The Phillies don't really have anything. Maikel Franco, Cole Hamels, Jonathan Papelbon, and Aaron Harang (although he's quickly slipping.

Jerome Williams to DL, Hector Neris recalled.

I was also expecting a designated for assignment for McGowan to bring in possibly Juan Gutierrez or Diekman back up.

Freddy Galvis with The Howard. Does this mean a comeback win?

Phils have a chance for a mid day victory today - can it happen?

I understand this is a rebuild, so the pain is supposed to be worth it in the end, but I don't believe Amaro is smart enough to orchestrate it. He's calling it a rebuild, but a rebuild to what? He's not leading the team back into contention. He's a smug schmuck.
