What To Imbibe On:
North Country Brewing - Bucco Blonde. It's a blond ale that pours a brilliant gold with a pillowly white head. Super easy drinking, as neither hops or malts are overly pronounced, lending to a noninvasive balanced ale on the palate. Subtle malt sweetness and a faint hops. Soft carbonation, a bit soapy and floral. Give it credit for being crisp and refreshing and donating proceeds to Make A Wish foundation through the Pittsburgh Pirates pitching coach Ray Searage. Sessionable at 4.9% ABV and perfect for the warm summer weather.

Jake Diekman has finally been optioned to Triple-A, but no corresponding move has been made. I'll update the preview once who is replacing him is announced.
Aaron Nola's minor league career thus far: 11-3, 23 G, 22 GS, 127 IP, 18 BB, 99 K, 2.27 ERA, and a 0.95 WHIP. Hot damn!
It's gonna be a long weekend. The 3 starters ERA are all over 5, but once in a while a blind squirrel finds a nut.
This Franco guy is actually good
Jerome didn't get his nut tonight.
And another crap outing by starting pitcher.
Really wish Wandy Rodriguez was still with Phillies. I knew they would regret letting him go.
Must be part of Amaro's plan.
1/2 game from worst record now.
Don't worry Bob, they'll "win" that distinction.
