Never should have started the game today. Totally wasted the starting pitchers.

They're some really good things going on in the minors right now. Guys have made great debuts, others have recently been promoted levels, pitching is looking solid, and some bats are coming alive. Future might be alright after all. Trade Harang and Papelbon for some higher level bats (Triple or Double-A) and the Phillies have the makings of a team.

Guys on current roster that could help in future...
Freddy Galvis and Cesar Hernandez could each be UTL kinda guys.
Cody Asche can be reserve OF/3B.
Maikel Franco at 3rd.
Cameron Rupp catcher, preferably splitting time with another young guy that can hit.
Ken Giles, Luis Garcia, Jeanmar Gomez in the bullpen. Maybe Diekman, Araujo, and DeFratus, but they have a lot prove in my opinion.
Hamels in the rotation.

Basically the need an entire offense and rotation.

C- Cameron Rupp (Gabriel Lino- in AAA or Andrew Knapp- in AA)
1B - Brock Stassi (in AA)
2B - ?
SS - JP Crawford (in AA)
3B - Maikel Franco
LF - Aaron Altherr (in AAA)
CF - Roman Quinn (in AA)
RF - Kelly Dugan (in AA)
Bench - Cesar Hernandez, Freddy Galvis, Cody Asche, Cameron Perkins (in AA)

Rotation - Cole Hamels, Aaron Nola (in AAA), Zach Eflin (in AA), Ben Lively (in AA), Jesse Biddle (in AA) or Mark Leiter (in AA).

Bullpen - Ken Giles, Jeanmar Gomez, Luis Garcia, Hector Neris (in AAA), Elvis Araujo?, Justin DeFratus?, and Jake Diekman?.

There are some other guys down in Single A doing well too. Better days await.

Ricardo Pinto SP, Canelo SS, and Kingery 2B may all shoot up the prospect charts and become top prospects.
