Dellin Betances is Freakin' Amazing

This might be sacrilegious coming from a Phillies blogger, but since I have the forum, I'm going to do it anyway- New York Yankees reliever Dellin Betances is amazing!

The big imposing righty stands 6'8" and weighs in at 265 pounds.  Pitching for the Yankees seems like what he was meant to do, seeing that he was born in New York City.  The 27 year old has pitched in part of 4 seasons, but it's his last 2 that I want to focus on, as there has not been a more dominant reliever in baseball over that time.

Dellin Betances 2013-2014:
9-0, 96 G, 119.1 IP, 184 K, 2 SV, 33 HLD, 1.06 ERA, 0.77 WHIP, and a 5.5 WAR.

He has not allowed an earned run this season, meaning he's sporting a sparkling 0.00 ERA into the month of June.

Phillies working on a no-hitter...against themselves.

Hamels looks very shaky tonight.

Maikel Franco with The Howard. Phillies with the win. Naturally.

Franco hit a good Chapman pitch (down low) with great bat speed and breaking Chapman's 10 for 10 in saves this year, and 29 straight since last year.
