What To Imbibe On:
Neshaminy Creek - Blitzkrieg Hops. It's an English style double IPA and it comes through with the promise of hops. Burnt orange pour with thin semi-creamy head and slight lacing. A caramel/syrupy sweetness upfront is quickly subdued by booming bitterness to finish out. Pine, grapefruit rind, and hop resin in the nose. Decent representation of 2XIPA. It packs a 9% ABV with 98 IBUs and is only available through June, so go get some.  Love the Ramones reference too. Added bonus, comes in a pounder can (16 oz).

Commercial description - With the amount of IPAs brewed here in the States you’d think that there’s only one way to skin a cat. While the West Coast style has long dominated the style, there’s a world of IPAs you should explore, and Blitzkrieg Hops DIPA wouldn’t be a bad start. Blitzkrieg is a big, 9% ABV, juicy, earthy hopped English-style double IPA brewed entirely with English malts, hops, and fermented with an English ale yeast strain. Brewed with Maris Otter pale malt, and hopped with Admiral, Pilgrim, Phoenix, and Target hops; all big, juicy, high alpha English hops that we thought needed a lil’ love, each of which is over 10% alpha acid. Blitzkrieg Hops DIPA is our homage to the birthplace of the IPA as well as the band that inspired its name. - 85

Shoulda kept Wandy Rodriguez. I'm predicted this biting Amaro in the ass.

4 GS, 23.1 IP, 22 K, 2.70 ERA, 1.07 WHIP.

That's a helluva lot better than we've gotten from David Buchanon, Severino Gonzalez, Seaon O'Sullivan, and Chad Billingsley.

Just sayin'...

Phillies fall to 11-22 on the season. On pace for a record of 54-108.

Asche to AAA to become an Outfielder. Has to stay 10 days at the least.

Franco likely to be promoted this weekend.

A reliever at that point will lose a roster spot, can you say Buh bye McGowan?

With Asche, Revere, Herrera all lefties and in the outfield its less likely Brown makes it back. If he starts to hit well then I would expect someone to get moved (Revere trade?) Sizemore or Francoeur likely to lose a spot in short order.
