AL West MVPs & Cy Youngs

One last stop in the American League before heading over the NL. With the East and Central divisions already reviewed, it's time to check out the AL West's MVP and Cy Young for each squad.

Houston Astros:
MVP - Jose Altuve .341/.830, 85 R, 47 DBL, 7 HR, 59 RBI, 56 SB, 6.0 WAR.

CY - Dallas Keuchel 12-9, 29 GS, 200 IP, 146 K, 2.93/1.18, 5.1 WAR.

Los Angeles Angels:
MVP - Mike Trout .287/.939, 115 R, 39 DBL, 9 TRPL, 36 HR, 111 RBI, 16 SB, 7.9 WAR.

CY - Jered Weaver 18-9, 34 GS, 213.1 IP, 169 K, 3.59/1.21, 3.0 WAR.

Oakland Athletics:
MVP - Josh Donaldson .255/.798, 93 R, 31 DBL, 29 HR, 98 RBI, 8 SB, 7.4 WAR.

CY - Sonny Gray 14-10, 33 GS, 219 IP, 183 K, 3.08/1.19, 3.2 WAR.

Seattle Mariners:
MVP -  Robinson Cano .314/.836, 77 R, 37 DBL, 14 HR, 82 RBI, 10 SB, 6.4 WAR.

CY - Felix Hernandez 15-6, 34 GS, 236 IP, 248 K, 2.14/0.92, 6.8 WAR.

Texas Rangers:
MVP - Adrian Beltre .324/.879, 79 R, 33 DBL, 19 HR, 77 RBI, 7.0 WAR.

CY - Yu Darvis 10-7, 22 GS, 144.1 IP, 182 K, 3.06/1.26, 3.2 WAR.

*Players had to be with the same team the entire season (ex- John Lester couldn't be the A's Cy Young because he was traded to Oakland in July).

*Pitchers are considered solely for the Cy Young, not MVP.

*On offense the big numbers aren't all that count, as defense and base running are part of the equation too.

APHILLYATED
Looking for some fun Philly inspired clothing?  Of course you are!  I have a place for you- APHILLYATED.  I recently picked up 3 very comfortable t-shirts that are totally up my alley (Rocky, The Vet, and the Liberty Bell).  I recommend perusing their inventory and ordering something while using this 20% off promo code- WESHOULDBEGMS.

Comes down to Abreu, Brantley, Bautista, Donaldson, Martinez, and Trout for MVP. Edge to Trout but not likely to run away with award.

Miguel Cabrera will get some votes too. Trout is the winner in my opinion.
