Lil' Something Special About Ben Revere

The last Philadelphia Phillies players to qualify for the batting title and hit over .300 on the season were Chase Utley (.332) and Aaron Roward (.309) back in 2007.  Fast forward seven years later and now we see Ben Revere on the verge of breaking the dry spell.  He's currently sitting on a .309 batting average (good for 4th in the NL) with 9 games remaining in the 2014 season.  Also of note, Revere has 47 stolen bases and has a shot at 50.  He would be the first Phillies player to reach the half century mark since Juan Samuel did it back in 1985.

It's gotta be about practically official that the Phillies will retain the services of Jerome Williams next season.

AJ Burnett...a waste.

Williams has been a pleasant surprise from the most unlikely source.
They should not hand him a rotation spot but let him battle it out with Buchanan and others.
