Michael Martinez- Historically Horrible

Fear not Phans, Michael Martinez is back, but this time with the Pirates (Phucco!).  His shortcomings were lamented on WSBGMs aplenty when he played for the Phillies, so why stop now?  You know we love to beat a dead horse.

Since 1901, 4439 batters (non-pitchers), have been to the plate 400+ times (Martinez currently at 407 plate apperances).  He ranks 4427th with a .185 batting average and 4421st with a .492 OPS.  How the hell does this man continue to hold a job?  That is historically horrible.

Since joining the Phillies, Grady Sizemore has a 7 game hitting streak (he's hit in every game he's played).

Rumor has it that Ruf has been promoted and Mayberry possibly traded.

Never mind, Mayberry is DL bound.

Mayberry DL???

Martinez, I'll be rooting for him to go O fer ever in a Pirates uniform. Now he will be a Phucco - I'm sure he has been called worse.

Bring up Ruf, Marquis, and MAGonzalez while they are at it. Time for change.

Rumor has it Pirates also interested in Burnett and AJ wants to go back. - Let him have another shot at playoffs! Even if the team doesn't get a top prospect.

Burnett is going to O's or Bucs. Give Locke or Miguel Gonzalez and call it a deal.

Burnett pitched a hella good game. Maybe last in red pinstripes.

See the trade for Soria? Rangrs got 2 quality pitching prospects in return. Amaro is incapable of such.

Soria's contract was infanatly more movable. Detroit was smart. It's becoming apparent that Paps is untradable for anything good because of the contract.

I'm talking about in general, that Amaro is incapable. He had Cliff Lee and got jack shit in return.
