Rollins with the Howard, Phillies with the Win

Congratulations to Jimmy Rollins for cranking a homerun, striking out, and committing an error in last night's win over the Reds.  You sir, just collected your first Howard of the season.  Let's be honest, this season is a lost cause for the Phillies, so these are the type of things we need to celebrate, because otherwise it's all just pointless.

Check out how bad the Phillies organization is this year.  The Iron Pigs and Fightin' Phils are the the only teams playing remotely close to mediocrity.

Philadelphia Phillies: 25-34
Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs: 31-31
Reading Fightin' Phils: 30-28
Clearwater Threshers: 12-48
Lakewood BlueClaws: 23-37
Organization Total: 121-178 (.405%)

Unfortunately, AAA has only a few legit prospects. But Reading does have a number of prospects there so there is some hope.

Gotta celebrate the good when in that rare occasion it happens. Phillies fan thru thick and thin here.

I have to say, I am impressed with the draft the Phillies have had. Picks #3, 4, &6 were ranked higher than where the Phils picked them up. It may not mean much for 2014, but 2015 and even more so in 2016 this could pay off.

Looks as if the Phillies drafted Joe Flacco's brother Tom in the 32nd round. He's an outfielder.

Clearly I need something to keep me interested in baseball.

count on ruben to throw a lot of money at tom flacco so he can be as rich as his brother because of course he will
