10 Shutouts, I Kid You Not

Not even half way through the season and the Phillies have been shutout 10 times.  Yes, 10 times.  How many times?

The Philadelphia Phillies have been shutout 10 times!

That's all I've got to say. Shutout 10 freakin' times!!!

At least Roberto Hernandez ended his 9 year major league hitless drought last night.

This team is the anti-1993 Phillies. If you recall, they were not shut out until after they clinched the division and were resting their regulars. By the way, it never occurred to me until this year's NBA draft that the Sixers' top pick last year has the names of both the batter and the pitcher in the most infamous at-bat in Phillies' history in his hyphenated last name.
