*From MLBTradeRumors.com before last night's game: The Phillies currently sit at four games under .500. While that leaves them just 4.5 games back in the NL East heading into the day’s action, the team is carrying a -34 run differential (third-worst in baseball) and falls among the bottom five clubs in the game in hitting, pitching, and defense by measure of fWAR.

Bobby Abreu - .240/.773 in 17 games. Would rather have him than Gwynn or Mayberry.
Remember when the Phil's would score 4 to 8 runs a game back in the day, those day's are long gone.
Remember when the Phils had a dominant offense and pitching to match?
Hahahahaha!
Remember when Pat Gillick was GM and we had a well balanced offense and defense? Crazy right?

Dom Brown and Cody Asche (or as my wife calls him, Kobe-ashi) coming alive. Having the two of them hitting will transform the offense.
Cole Hamels win #100.
Congrats.
Wil Nieves has been a great if inconsequential pickup. Sometimes RAJ does get it right, I remember us all being skeptical of that signing.
This team has scored in spurts this year. but they get down right cold at times as we have seen 3 times this year.
Remember when 20 runs scored in 2 games happened every other day?
