Cincinnati Reds (18-21) @ Philadelphia Phillies (17-21)
Friday, 7:05 - Alfredo Simon vs. KK
Saturday, 7:05 - Homer Bailey vs. Cole Hamels
Sunday, 1:35 - Mike Leake vs. Cliff Lee
One of the 3 Primary Colors Bats:
R - 143 (28th)
AVG - .245 (23rd)
OPS - .698 (20th)
A vastly disappointing group. The Reds have become accostumed to being near the top of the league in runs scored, but outside of Joey Votto/1B (.257/.859) and Todd Frazier/3B (.273/.850), the bats have fallen silent. Wouldn't be surprised to see a few of them (Brandon Phillips, Billy Hamilton,
and/or Ryan Ludwick) light up the scoreboard this weekend against the Phils pitching though.
One of the 3 Primary Colors Arms:
ERA - 3.40 (8th)
WHIP - 1.20 (6th)
Johnny Cueto pitched last night, so that's good for the Phils. However, Simon (2.89/1.08) and Leak (3.09/0.99) have been solid. Relievers Jonathan Broxton and Sam LeCure have dominated and Aroldis Chapman is back from the DL.
Neither KK or Hamels have a win to their name yet this season, and I foresee that trend continuing. Phillies stink. True story. Reds take at least 2 outta 3.
