Let's Get It On- Reds Series Preview

Cincinnati Reds (18-21) @ Philadelphia Phillies (17-21)

Pitching Match-Ups:
Friday, 7:05 - Alfredo Simon vs. KK
Saturday, 7:05 - Homer Bailey vs. Cole Hamels
Sunday, 1:35 - Mike Leake vs. Cliff Lee

One of the 3 Primary Colors Bats:
R - 143 (28th)
AVG - .245 (23rd)
OPS - .698 (20th)

A vastly disappointing group.  The Reds have become accostumed to being near the top of the league in runs scored, but outside of Joey Votto/1B (.257/.859) and Todd Frazier/3B (.273/.850), the bats have fallen silent.  Wouldn't be surprised to see a few of them (Brandon Phillips, Billy Hamilton,
and/or Ryan Ludwick) light up the scoreboard this weekend against the Phils pitching though.

One of the 3 Primary Colors Arms:
ERA - 3.40 (8th)
WHIP - 1.20 (6th)

Johnny Cueto pitched last night, so that's good for the Phils.  However,  Simon (2.89/1.08) and Leak (3.09/0.99) have been solid. Relievers Jonathan Broxton and Sam LeCure have dominated and Aroldis Chapman is back from the DL.

Neither KK or Hamels have a win to their name yet this season, and I foresee that trend continuing.  Phillies stink.  True story.  Reds take at least 2 outta 3.

Joey Votto won't be making the trip to Philly. Good news for the Phils.

Poor KK. Dude might never win again. Hopefully he gets traded to a contender come July.

Oh yeah, Phillies suck!

Phillies haven't scored in 20straight innings and were shutout for the sixth time this season.

I was on the phone with my Dad today and he said he was "watching the Phillies loose." I told him the last word was extraneous and not to waste his breath.

Why would fans want to go to the games unless they got free tickets? Tickets, parking, concessions are all ridiculously priced and the team sucks!
