The Howard- Final 2013 Standing

The Howard- when a player strikes out, commits an error, and hits a homerun all within the same game.  Lovingly named after the Philadelphia Phillies slugger, Ryan Howard.

  • For the first time in The Howard's existence, Mark Reynolds did not win it.  Congrats to National League homerun leader, strikeout leader, and the man that committed the most errors...Pedro Alvarez.  He is absolutely fitting of the title.

    92 total Howards were committed this season.  This was by far the lowest amount since the stat became officially recorded back in 2009.

    So what was the Phillies record when a Howard was committed? Looks like we had 4 all season

    I think the Phils went 2-2 in those games.
