*Appears that the Phillies starting rotation is already numerically slotted into place- 1. Hamels, 2. Halladay, 3. Lee, 4. Kendrick, 5. Lannan.
*Yuniesky Betancout and Ryan Howard, each batting .500, are swinging the hot sticks early on in camp.
*Rule 5'er, Ender Inciarte, is carrying a 1.000 OBP, with 3 walks and 1 hit in 1 at bat.
*The Phillies are 0-2-1 through the first few Grapefruit League games. Oh, no!!!
*Darin Ruf is 0-8 with 2 K. This will not earn him a job.
*When Jonathan Papelbon isn't busy complaining about the lack of leadership in the clubhouse, he can be found serving up a shit-storm on the mound. Through 2/3 of an inning he has a 81.00 ERA and 10.50 WHIP. Best check yoself, before you rickety wreck yoself.
*Michael Stutes recorded 3 outs yesterday, all on deep fly balls to the warning track. Also gave up 2 runs.
*Delmon Young will likely begin the season on the DL, and there is where I hope he remains.
*Chase Utley has played in 2 games already. That is 2 more than the previous 2 spring trainings combined.

Nice article about Jimmy Rollins and the Hall of Fame.
Brown and Frandsen doing well early on.
Best case for Phils is Brown wins a spot and the rest (Ruf, Mayberry, Nix, Inciarte) do well enough that Delmon is not needed.
Stutes is one of 7 pitchers who have a legit shot of winning the 3 open pen spots.
Dom Brown with homerun #2.
Phils won a game.
Told you. Give the Boy a Chance.
Leave him alone in the 6 Slot.
J-Roll has a shot IF, He kicks some butt for the next two years. Go Jimmy.
This is a Team that needs us to root for them. Whatever happens I believe that this team will be great to root for.
I am a supporter of J-Roll for HoF. He's in great shape and might be able to put in another 5 seasons as a starting SS.
Jimmy Rollins will be a Hall of Famer someday even he finishes his career poorly. He is so well respected around the game and a well known enough name that the Veterans Committee will take him in very quickly if he does not make it in with the BBWAA.
Phils looking at Kip Wells for minor league depth. He's not great, but he's a better 6th/7th starter option than Aaron Cook or Rodrigo Lopez.
Dom Brown and Ryan Howard still dropping it like it's hot, both hitting .500
Ruf finally got his first hit, but also made his 2nd error.
I was the First Here to say J-Roll could be in the Hall of Fame.
Were u the first? May have been, but I too have been beating that drum for awhile.
Corey was very anti, as I recall with good arguments, but I feel if he can be solid for 3-4 years that if you compare J-Roll to who is in the Hall of Fame, for ShortStops - combined with no Steroids. He has a shot.
