A lot of rumors connected Josh Hamilton with the Phillies. Just don't see how this happens, nor do I really want it to.
Not to nitpick, but Izturis is now the most junior Blue Jay.
Not thrilled about Hamilton, who can almost be sure to miss 30 games, and it won't get better as he ages.
Crap. I will change the Angels player tomorrow.
Hamilton is a lefty - I dont see it happening because of that, unless Howard goes somewhere
I dont like the idea of adding Bourne - costs a draft pic and maybe a Rollins clone with low OB% and pops up too much doesnt walk enough.
Bourn is pretty good, but not great, and the cost for is too steep to my liking.
I'd rather Bourn than Hamilton, but I'd rather neither than Bourn.
I am absolutely floored that Chase Headley is the longest tenured Padre. I can't believe they've had that much turnover recently, it feels like their Front Office is not a really active one.
Holy shit! The Marlins just sent away 3 of their best players. The Blue Jays got a helluva lot better. That instantly puts them in contention in the AL East.
Marlins on the other hand...not so much.
Josh Johnson, Mark Buerhle, and Jose Reyes. Wow, just wow.
