Sticking with the "loser" theme of yesterday's post and pretty much the entire 2012 Philadelphia Phillies season, I bring to you vintage Beatles per forming "I'm a Loser" because the Phillies are performing like their vintage selves...the losingest franchise in sports history.

I'm protecting the arms and I'm fielding offers for the other 8 position players. If i can turn this roster over in two years and construct a real line up...We're back in serious contention.
I'm still not ready to fire Amaro but somebody made a good observation that the major difference between Gillick and Amaro is Gillick had the ability to find the diamonds in the rough that were quality and didn't break the bank. Gillick pulled some gems in August and in the offseason that ended up as valuable contributors. Amaro, in 3 years has yet to do that.

Blanton v. Zito today. My prediction: Phills loose 9 to 5.
Prediction: Blanton will hit a homer but will trip over first base and knock the umpire over Kratz will turn around to see if he's ok and pass Blanton who will only get credited with a single and thrown out of the game for kicking dirt on umpire as he goes all ape on him

While at the stadium today, I booed Pence, Vic, Blanton, Polly, Howard, and Manuel. Boy, does it feel good to blow off steam. And a win too!
