Phillies get:
1) Ethan Martin
2) Josh Lindblom
3) $3 million less in salary for the remainder of the year
4) John Mayberry in center field. Ugh.
Quick evaluation - Victorino was going to be a free agent and the Phils are out of the running, so any return is a plus. Martin is only 23, a former first round pick and strikes out over a batter an inning, so there has to be some upside.

This seems like a decent deal. Lindblom should slot into setup man and the other dude could be a future MLB reliever or backend of the rotation starting pitcher.
I'll give Rube a B+ on this one. Lindbolm seems to have been effective in his so far breif career, and the other guy looks like a poor man's Jared Cosart as a prospect. Bye Shane. There were some good times, but I ultimatly feel ambivilant about you.
