5-4 loss today. Chad Qualls designated for assignment- win.
Sure, falling further back in the standings stinks, but getting rid of those two pieces of garbage is a major coup.

Apparently, Qualls has asked to be traded in the 10-day window. I think he might be Cholly's league in the brains department.
The Blue Jays are hurting for pitching. Maybe they'd take him for some low level "prospect".
Maybe they could package Kendrick with Qualls and get the Blue Jay's mascot. Someone for the Phanatic to hand out with at least.
