Win Streak, Worley Hurt, Diekman Debut, Lee Can't Win, Pence Goes Deep, Last Place & Catching Duo

*Today's win marked the Phillies first 3-game winning streak of the 2012 season and first extra inning win.  Yeah, it's been that bad.

*Vance Worley will miss tomorrow's start in Chicago with elbow soreness.  Yeah, more Kyle Kendrick!

*Jacob Diekman got the W in his MLB debut. 3 K's in 1.1 IP with no hits or walks.  Hell, he should be the new 8th inning setup man.  Congrats kid, and make sure to thank Charlie Manuel for shitty bullpen management that lead to giving you the opportunity to pick up the win.

*Cliff Lee continues to be Mr. No-Luck.  In 5 starts this year, he has a 1.95 ERA and 0.76 WHIP, but nary a win.  Stupid offense.  Stupid Manuel.

*Hunter Pence went deep twice today to bump his season total to 9 homeruns.  His second 4-bagger was of the walk-off variety.

*The Phillies are now 18-19 and still in last place in the NL East.

*The Phillies quite possibly have the best offensive catching duo in the Majors between Carlos Ruiz and Brian Schneider- .328/.907, 21 R, 8 DBL, 7 HR, 27 RBI

Tyler Cloyd is now 7-0 with a 1.24 ERA over 51 IP between Reading and Lehigh Valley.

If Worley needs DL time, I say give the kid a whirl in the rotation and put KK back in the bullpen.

You should change magic number to "Games out of fourth place".

Worley to DL, Savery recalled.

That 4 lefties in the bullpen now- Savery, Diekman, Bastardo, and Valdes. Huh?!
