What I'm Listening To:
'Stayin Alive' by the Bee Gees - RIP Robin Gibb and sorry about the tasteless pun.
What I'm [Not] Drinking:
The 'Kool-Aid' - Anybody read the articles this weekend about how Chase Utley took some ground balls? Exciting news, eh? And only 2 weeks after he was going to "ramp up" his activity. What progress he's making! I can't wait until he comes back and hits 20 home runs! Yeah, Chase!
Magic Number Watch:
The Phillies magic number didn't see his shadow, so he won't be around for at least another two weeks...
Prediction:
Don't even bother watching tonight. They'll split the last two meaning the Phils lose another series.

What's the record for number of runs the Phillies have lost a game by? It might get broken tonight.
most runs allowed in a game was 28 against the cardinals in 1929. the most runs allowed by a pitcher is 17 by bill duggleby in 1903 against the red.
c'mon, KK, you can do it!
Not surprised our worse game ever was in the 20's. As much as we complain about this season, look at the 1920's teams, and there's some perspective for ya. Although a trip to baseball reference indicates the 1929 season was a bad but not abysmal 71-82.
Well they practically gave us that one and we still lost... pesky gNats...
The Phillies have the 2nd or 3rd highest payroll in baseball. Ever with Utley and Howard out, they should not suck this much.
Below .500 again. This is just horrible.
I know he still ended up scoring, but why wasn't Mayberry running on the passed ball? Poor focus and baserunning. Can't intimidate much with a lineup of Fontenot, Luna, Wiggington, etc... Many missed opportunities
The Phillies have the worst percentage of runs scored from 3rd with less than 2 outs, something like only 35%. That's f'n bad.
