The bats have been previewed for 2012 and now that leaves the arms. Let's start with the starting pitching...
Doc is about as consistent as they come and a perennial Cy Young candidate. 'Nuff said.
Roy Halladay - 19 W, 232 IP, 215 K, 2.48/1.05.
Lee had two of the most dominating months ever by a starting pitcher last year, and doesn't shy away from a challenge. He's the best #2 starting pitcher in baseball.
Cliff Lee - 17 W, 224 IP, 207 K, 2.89/1.08.
Hollywood is on the brink of free agency. Wouldn't be surprised to see him rack up 20 wins and possibly even out duel the rest of the NL for the Cy Young. The kid has become a man and damn he's good.
Cole Hamels - 18 W, 228 IP, 212 K, 2.61/1.04.
No real sophomore jinx/slump here, but a return to what will likely become the norm for The Vanimal is expected. He'll do a good enough job that we won't miss Oswalt.
Vance Worley - 13 W, 185 IP, 164 K, 3.88/1.28.
This is assuming two things- 1) Blanton remains with the Phillies and 2) he remains healthy. Both are far from a given. However, I think Heavy B will put up respectable numbers this year.
Joe Blanton - 11 W, 181 IP, 146 K, 4.13/1.35.
