Name That Phillie: Hitless Edition
This guy was so forgettable that he spent 2 seasons with the Phillies and I couldn't even find 1 image of him in a Phils uniform. Best I could do is an Orioles card and a minor league one. Probably couldn't get a picture of him with the Phils because he never even got a hit with them. This guy's entire career was pretty pathetic- 4 seasons, .322 OPS...ugh. Anyway, go ahead and try to identify this dude.

Good job. It is Al Pardo.
Pardo is one of only four players to have been born in Spain. He is the all-time homerun leader, with a whopping 1, for MLB players from Spain.
He was a catcher with the Phils in '88 and '89.
Maybe I missed something, but where's Utley been so far this spring training?
Manuel came out and said Utley, Polanco, and Chooch won't be playing that much this spring. I'm all for that. Just as long as they are ready to go for the regular season.
Utley, Polanco, and Chooch are already hobbled, after 4 months of rest? It's going to be a long season.
