The Phils are making the Brewers look like chumps in their own house. Milwaukee boasts the best home record, but to the Phillies that doesn't mean squat. Last night the Phightins won their 94th game of the season and now have a run differential of +190. I remember back in the day when that was a negative number. Anyway, The Vanimal attempts to finish off the unthinkable 4-game sweep of the Brew Crew and have the Phils win his 15th straight start.
The Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs never experienced a winning campaign before this season, and now they're heading to the Governor's Cup Final (AAA equivalent to World Series) after sweeping the Pawtucket Red Sox in a best of 5 series. The team is compiled of mostly Quad-A players that have MLB experience, but just can't stick in the Majors, but they're doing quite well for themselves collectively as a unit.
Reading Just Holding On:
The Lil' Phillies are now down in their best of 5 playoff series 2-1. They got shutout for the second time last night, so hopefully the bats return today for the good guys in Baseball Town, USA.
