Phillies are Braves Bullseye

Not only have the Atlanta Braves been taking aim at the Phillies in the NL East standings over the past 2 years, their pitchers are also placing bullseyes on some of our batters. Last year Tim Hudson plunked Placido Polanco on his left elbow, which required surgery after the season and multiple cortisone injections. Polly hasn't been the same since. Last night Eric O'Flaherty came in and smoked Chase Utley in the head with a fastball. Utley was later removed from the game, and has a "minor concussion" according Ruben Amaro. He will miss a few games and will undergo some tests to determine the severity of his "fuzziness".

Wonder if it's time for Chipper Jones to get a Brad Lidge slider to the testicles. After all, breaking balls are unpredictable.

Other Stuff:
*With the sweep over the Braves, the Phils are now the only team that hasn't been swept this season (in a 3 or 4 game set).

*Jimmy Rollins will be activated from the DL, but will only be used in case of emergency, because he's still not 100%.

*MLB denied the Phillies protest of Saturday's game because they're a bunch of pussies that don't like to admit when mistakes are made.

I love the reason. It's good for them to admit that they're a bunch of pussies.
