Tuesday, 7:10 - Roy Halladay v. Bronson Arroyo
Wednesday, 7:10 - Cliff Lee v. Dontrelle Willis
Thursday, 12:35 - Vance Worley v. Mike Leake

SLG - .411 (10th)

Reds Pitching:
ERA - 4.07 (20th)
WHIP - 1.33 (18th)
BAA - .254 (14th)

What We're Listening Too:
Corey - What else? Freekbass!!!!

Carson - Anything that is not Freekbass (or Justin Bieber, Cold Play, Train, Dave Matthews Band, Goo Goo Dolls).

Their Michael Martinez:
Paul Janish - Janish has the 5th most at-bats on the team but is only hitting .210-0-19. Brutal.

Their Danys Baez:
Jordan Smith had a 7.20 ERA before his demotion to Louisville. Now the reliever with the highest ERA is Nick Masset at 4.09.

What We're Drinking:
Corey - A dry martini made with Hendrick's Gin. Three olives. Hendrick's is distilled in Scotland and uses Bulgarian rose and cucumber to make a distinctively different flavored gin. Their motto says, "Preferred by 1 out of 1000 gin drinkers." I'm that one.

Carson - home-brewed Black IPA (half stout, half IPA), with coriander seed, and paprika. Dry, bitter, and smooth. Great beer.

Prediction:
Three of four for the good guys.

Watched the D-Train (Willis) pitch a couple times this year and he's looked good. The man can still hit the heck out of the ball too.

Remember when the Phillies used to actually play baseball on a regular basis?

Screw you mother nature. You're colder than a witch's titty.

Let's play some ball.

BTW. While waiting at the dentist's am, I read a love-fest to Nyjer Morgan(!?) in Sports Illustrated. What is this world coming to?

FYI GMs, this is a 4 game series

Nyjer Morgan doesn't see like someone you'd wanna cross.

Also, I highly recommend checking our Saisson duPont. Although it sounds both French and vaguely Delaware-ish this is actually a brew from Belgium. (A nation celebrating a year with no sitting government.) Anyway, while hunkering down for the weekend, I bought a fourpack at ye olde liquor store. I expected to pay the going rate of $16, but someone kindly coded the price wrong in the register and I ended up with a nicely discounted price of $6. It's not a dubbel or tripel, but actually a delicious "saison." Pour it slow cuz its a beer with a lot of head.

Saisons are hit and miss with me. I dig the farmhouse brew sometimes, but some get very sour.

Cole looked great tonight. Very welcomed re-addition to the staff.

Too bad the Phils can't hit Homer tonight.

Boo! M&M. Missing a Bunt.

Hooray! Shane Vic. Hit a Homer!

Michael Martinez sucks. He might have good speed, but he doesn't take walks or hit for average, and he can't lay down a bunt, so what the hell is the speed good for.

I really dislike him.

Cole should have gone 1 inning more.... but hopefully Mad Dog can close this out
