Cliff Lee Hates July

We're all well aware of just how awesome Cliff Lee's June was. 5 wins, 0.21 ERA, 0.69 WHIP, 3 straight shutouts. Like I said, awesome. Historically over his career, June has been Lee's favorite month.

June: 25-6, 44 GS, 299.1 IP, 76:227 BB:K, 3.07 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, 8 CG, 5 SHO.

Going for his 4th straight shutout and the sweep of the Blue Jays today, Lee faltered badly (7.1 IP, 7 R). Historically over his career, July has been Lee's worst month.

July: 18-14, 39 GS, 256.2 IP, 57:193 BB:K, 4.35 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, 6 CG.

Beltan is the Only Impact Bat that could be available, that if placed in the 5th Spot in the Lineup could make a real difference.

Don't look now the Mets have scored 375 to the Phillies 345 (which is second on the NL East). Why? Beltran.

I am in favor of adding Beltran. Wonder what the Mets want for him.
