My Boyfriend's Back- Phillies Remix

The Offense's Back:
They went away and you come around
And bother me every night
When I wanted nothing to do with you
You said things that weren't very nice

The offense's back and you're gonna be in trouble
Hey la, hey la the offense's back
If you see them come, better hope for just a double
Hey la, hey la the offense's back
They'd been spreadin' runs thin making the pitchers very blue
Hey la, hey la the offense's back
Look out now cause they're comin' after you
Hey la, hey la the offense's back

They've been gone for such a long time
Hey la, hey la the offense's back
Now they're back and things will be fine
Hey la, hey la the offense's back
You're gonna be sorry you were ever born
Hey la, hey la the offense's back
Cause they're kinda big and they're aweful strong
Hey la, hey la the offense's back

Hey they're hittin' without cheatin'
Now you're gonna get beatin'
What made you think they'd be the team's demise
You're a big man now
But he'll cut you down a size
Wait and see

The offense's back they're gonna save their reputation
Hey la, hey la the offense's back
If I were you I'd take a permanent vacation
Hey la, hey la the offense's back

Yeah the offense's back
So look out now
Yeah the offense's back
I can see they're coming now you better start a'runnin'
Look out now...

Brian Gordon of the Iron Pigs opted out of his contract and signed on with the Yankees. That sucks because he was absolutely dominate.

12 G, 9 GS, 5-0, 1.14 ERA, 0.83 WHIP, 55.1 IP, 7:56 BB:K.

4-8 at the plate with a HR.

He's a converted outfielder with 119 minor league homeruns and a .275 average and .781 OPS.

Seriously, this dude could have pitched long relief and been a bat off the bench. Sure as hell a lot more of a threat than Michael Martinez.

By the way- Screw Michael Martinez.

Shouldn't they pitch Halladay @ 1:05 and save the Bullpen for KK @ 7:05???????? (asked by Seth Everett last week)

yes, they should.

Be prepared for the Michael Martinez crapfest tonight. No way they play Utley in both ends.

Victorino beaned in the head - but not by the pitcher but by the catcher LOL! That was hilarious, never saw that before. good thing he had his helmet on

Hopefully the Phils build a big lead and pull Utley early so he can play both games

Not going to oversell KK, but let's give credit where credit is due. I was at the game last Thursday and he was sharp before the rain came. He's sharp again today by every standard metric. He's an adequate (word chosen carefully) fifth starter on this squad, which is saying something. He'll even up his record and give the Phils a rotation in which everyone is in the black.

He deserves a chance to stay in the rotation, although b/c of the DH today Worley is needed for Saturday.

KK has held his own this year. And over the past few seasons has proven to be valuable asset at times.

Now, hopefully Halladay settles down the offense gets it rolling.

KK did do a great job today

Halladay not sharp tonight.

Doc with a poor performance, but Phils take the twin-bill. Utley is hitting, which makes a world of difference to the lineup.

Oh, and Bastard is awesome.

Not only did the Iron Pigs lose Brian Gordon, they also lost Ronnie Belliard to retirement. Still think he's a better option than Martinez.
