why is brown not staring today? cus of a lefty? how's he ever gonna learn? sigh.
If you watched the end of the game last night and Charlie talking to him Brown kinda looked like someone shot his childhood pet. Also. He struck out in one at-bat where the ball was not caught by the catcher and turned dejectedly straight for the dugout without even an effort. Maybe these are the things Amaro was talking about.

Brown has some maturing to do, like most youngins with little MLB experience.

Oswalt pitching well today, but he's getting no support. I really feel bad for the starting pitchers, because knowing that you won't get any support has to put extra stress on them to try and be perfect.
It is downright ridiculous to waste these great pitching efforts. Maybe Utley's will infuse some spark out of this offense.
I want Charlie to go crazy on them after today. Start threatening their job security.

Phils have apparently signed OF Scott Podsednik to a minor league deal. He's got great speed, but not much else. He'd fit right in with this current team though, because they stink offensively too.
