GM Carson back in his playing days with the Phillies, the year that he lead the league in Howards.

What do I win for this guess?

Nothing...I'm not that old!

Utley likely to be activated tomorrow from the DL. Yippie!!!

Oh, I almost forgot some Golden Girls luck for today's game...better go add it now.

why is brown not staring today? cus of a lefty? how's he ever gonna learn? sigh.

If you watched the end of the game last night and Charlie talking to him Brown kinda looked like someone shot his childhood pet. Also. He struck out in one at-bat where the ball was not caught by the catcher and turned dejectedly straight for the dugout without even an effort. Maybe these are the things Amaro was talking about.

Edit: Meant to say kind of things, instead of things.

Brown has some maturing to do, like most youngins with little MLB experience.

Pete Mackanin is the answer.

Oswalt pitching well today, but he's getting no support. I really feel bad for the starting pitchers, because knowing that you won't get any support has to put extra stress on them to try and be perfect.

It is downright ridiculous to waste these great pitching efforts. Maybe Utley's will infuse some spark out of this offense.

I want Charlie to go crazy on them after today. Start threatening their job security.

Pathetic Pathetic Pathetic offense and managing.
Romero in to face Beltre in the 8th inning of a 1-0 game???
Then with Beltre on 3rd in need of a strike out with Stutes and Bastardo rested, Charlie goes to David Herndon!!??????
WTF ... I love Charlie but he is a freakin IDIOT!!

GM-Carson said...

Charlies is a good ol' boy and a lovable man, but he is not a good in-game manager.

Phils have apparently signed OF Scott Podsednik to a minor league deal. He's got great speed, but not much else. He'd fit right in with this current team though, because they stink offensively too.

GM-Carson said...

Piss poor effort today fellas. Piss poor. Oswalt deserves better.

Aaron said...

Rizzoti for Ludwig. Make it happen Rube.

Good Signing Scott Podsednik Lefty OF with Speed.

With Utley, Victorino, and Schneider Back Eventually...

Starters (8) Ruiz - Howard - Utley - Polanco - JRoll - Ibanez - Victorino - Brown

Bench (5) Schneider C, Valdez IF, Gload OF, Mayberry OF, Francisco OF

Sardina C, Orr IF, Martinez UTL, and now Scott Podsednik OF looking for spots...

Mayberry or Franciso (my pick) will be toast. Brown may be sent down until the All-Star Break.

Interesting.
