In other news, Doc Halladay goes in the rubber match this afternoon. On Facebook I posted- "Bullpen gonna be gassed after the craptastic Hamels & Blanton starts. Doc needs to get surgical tomorrow and slice the Mets up for 9 strong." Some genius decided to give me a history lesson on Roy Halladay's nickname of "Doc" and inform me that it has nothing to do with a PHD, rather some gunslinger named Doc Holliday. No shit Sherlock! Apparently that "friend" of We Should Be GMs doesn't understand the concept of a double entendre.Anyway, lets go Phillies and stuff like that.

You know what I'm looking for (besides a win) is Doc using his defense more than his first outing and being economical with his pitches.

woo hoo! just checked the 'net and see the phils up 6-0. although doc has thrown 65 pitches through 4 innings. won't get past 7. hopefully they have at least a 10 runs lead to herndon can finish the game.

Good call Corey: Herndon finished it, Raul with a bomb and Francisco with yet another just missed HR in the game. If he keeps this up he may end up having a ton of Hrs once it gets warm out. Jason who????
