Name That Phillie: Who The Hell Is That Edition

Today's player is a challenge to name as I have never heard of this guy before randomly stumbling upon his minor league card a couple days ago. I assure you he was officially a Phillie, playing for them back in the day. He has the honor of being ejected from his final game in the Majors. That is none other than Adolfo QuiƱones, better known by his stage name, Shabba Doo. He became one of the founders of the dance style commonly known as locking as a member of The Original Lockers with Toni Basil, Don "Campbellock" Campbell and Fred "Rerun" Berry. QuiƱones' most well known role was the role of Ozone in the 1984 hit cult film, Breakin' and its sequel, Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo.

Looks like Durbin is signing with the Indians.

Interesting rumor- Phils asking Nats about Mike Morse. He'd be a good fit for the club, especially if Charlie doesn't have faith in Mayberry.

i have faith that mayberry is worthless.

I think Mayberry if used almost solely against lefties could have good value. Problem is against righties and breaking pitches his futile.

Amalio Carreno

Correct!

How'd you find out the answer?

I used to go to Reading games in the late 80s/early 90s. I thought he was on the 1991 Phils, so I just checked to be sure.
