apparently charlie was only the 5th best manager in the nl this year
Not sure if Manuel should have been manager of the year, but to lead the Phils to the best record in baseball with so much of the team on the DL during the year was remarkable.
and derek jeter was the best fielding shortstop in the american league...realization that these awards are silly is the gateway to happiness.
