In Case You're As Bored As I Am...

It's only Wednesday, stupid Wednesday. Why the hell do we have to wait until Saturday for the NLCS to start? I'm bored, and in case you're as bored as I am, I did a Google image search under "funny Phillies" and came up with some of these gems: A) to the right is what appears to be Mikey from Life cereal rocking some Phils gear, B) apparently a hot Jewish Phillies fan doing some sorta draft, C) Cole Hamels looking "manly" with a gun, and D) Kyle Kendrick cooking.

Your right dude. The MLB waits way to long to begin the LCS's. It's probably because they want to give the pitchers a rest. They work two hours a week and they need five days rest to do so. What a rip.

I've never agreed with this amount of days off in the playoffs for the last 10 or whatever years. Its a whole month of games spread out about every other day for just 3 series. Right now the WS will end (game7) on November 4th, but they could easily cutout 4 days to the 31st and still have plenty of days off between and during series.

The entire season long teams use a 5 man rotation, why the hell should the playoffs give them the opportunity to got with only 3 and definitely no more than 4? Don't get me wrong, I love that Halladay, Hamels, and Oswalt are going to be getting most of the nods, but all these days off are ridiculous. It all comes down to the almighty dollar and the bottom line is that FOX simply isn't ready to start the playoffs this week with their regular televised series, but will be come this weekend.

This has nothing to do with the Phillies, but McDonald's is bring back the McRib and will unleash the beast on November 2nd. Awesome!
