'Stros are the only NL team with a winning record vs. the Phils since 2004. Someone's got naked pics over there or something, because I just don't get it. I'm over it. We can't beat the Astros.
Bring on the West Coast. Our boys need some time away from home to appreciate the comforts.
I won't be watching the Left Coast games out of need of sleep and total disgust. Why anger myself watching the Phils when there's always some Phineas & Ferb on somewhere?
I was having anger issues 2 days ago, but after skipping todays game except the 9th inning - I feel a bit better. Maybe skipping a few 10PM games will calm me even more.
Not having Scott Barry within 200 miles of me will help more. If he can stay off the TV thats even better.
Baseball Tonight's Eduardo Perez says it well- "This is a disturbing trend for Philadelphia fans -- the Phillies are just 21-19 against clubs that are 10 games or more below .500. Simply put, they take those matchups for granted. They assume they're going to blow teams away and get players some extra at-bats in the process. Well, Houston, thank you for your wakeup call."
"The Phillies aren't focusing at the plate or on the bases. When the game isn't going your way offensively, you have to focus even more on something like baserunning. It's OK to be aggressive running the bases, but getting thrown out because of mental errors is unacceptable -- and that's been happening lately. These guys are getting picked off because they're napping; they are way too comfortable out there."
Sir Alden- I wouldn't be able to wake up the next morning and function at work if I stayed up and watched the games on the West Coast. 1 AM to 5:45 AM is not enough sleep.

My pre-series prediction? Astros take at least 3, and possibly sweep. I saw this coming.

Have not seen him this year.
