Losing 2 games out of the gate to the lowly Cubs is disheartening, especially when you considered the momentum they had rolling into the All-Star break. Now the Phils sit only 5 games above .500 and 5.5 back of the NL East leading Braves. There's been little good to speak of lately, but there is some. Tons of bad though...
Ryan Howard, Roy Halladay, Cole Hamels, JC Romero, Chad Durbin, and um, what's his name, oh wait, nobody else.
Kyle Kendrick, Jayson Werth & Shane Victorino (both borderline bad, especially Werth who has been spinning his wheels for a month or so now), Wilson Valdez (greatly outperforming expectations), Nelson Figueroa, Brian Schneider, and David Herndon.
Joe Blanton, Jamie Moyer, Ryan Madson, Raul Ibanez, Danys Baez, Greg Dobbs, Juan Castro, Jimmy Rollins, Jose Contreras, Brad Lidge, Ross Gload, and Ben Francisco.
Too Hurt To Register:
Carlos Ruiz, Chase Utley, Chad Durbin, and Placido Polanco.
