Happy 4th of July everyone. If you're not American, it's just another day, but if you are from the U.S. of A. then Independence Day means many things to you. Above all- freedom, followed by picnics, baseball, and fireworks. Last night the Phillies treated fans to a fireworks display on the scoreboard, busting out 12 runs. Will the bats continue to send bombs bursting in air today as they attempt to even the series in Pittsburgh? Well, even if they are shutout for the gazillionth time this year, you can still enjoy some cold brewskies, hot dogs, and apple pie.
Tid-Bits:
*Mark Reynolds took the MLB lead in Howards, committed his 3rd offense of the season yesterday.
*Clearwater's Harold Garcia smacked a homerun yesterday to extend his hitting streak to 36 games.
*Last night was Kyle Kendrick's first career complete game.
