What's the #?

A. Number of surgeries Jamie Moyer had this past offseason.
B. Times Rob Ducey's longest hitting streak.
C. Plus games played in a Phils uniform by Spanky.
D. Minus Jerry Koosman's balk total with teams other than the Mets.
E. Divided by homeruns from Phillies bench players this season.
What's the #?

Aaron, I wish that were the answer, but it's not, although very true.

Tonight's elite matchup of Johnson and Halladay has been postponed.

Extra time for you to figure out this stumper of a number.

From MLBTR-
The Phillies' deal with first-round pick Jesse Biddle is done, tweets Matt Gelb of the Philadelphia Inquirer. Gelb notes that the deal can't be made official until after Biddle graduates high school Friday. Once signed the local lefty will join the rookie league GCL Phillies.

The Phillies drafted Biddle 27th overall, with scouting director Marti Wolever comparing him to Clayton Kershaw. MLB.com's Todd Zolecki notes that the Mariners signed the #27 pick last year for $1.28MM, which is around slot. Baseball America ranked Biddle 116th overall, while ESPN's Keith Law had him at 90.

does valdez count as a bench player even though he's started a bunch of game? if the homerun is hit while the player is starting, does that count? what about a player who usually starts but came into the game later and hit a homer?

Bench Player- Brian Schnieder, Paul Hoover, Greg Dobbs, Ross Gload, Ben Francisco, Juan Castro, and Wilson Valdez.

*starting/pinch-hitting doesn't matter, only if they are a bench player.
