Sometimes, we have to look at the bright side of things. Sure, the Phils couldn't score a run past the second inning yesterday. I know that Danys Baez sucks. I know Joe Blanton sucks more. It's difficult to watch Raul Ibanez hit less than .230. And recently Chase Utley has not been "The Man," hitting in the .260s. But Brad Lidge is back, bitches.
Now, if the Phillies can consistently go to the ninth inning with the lead...

*Nelson Figueroa was DFA'd by the Phillies but accepted a Triple A assignment with the club after clearing waivers.
*Phillies scouting director Marti Wolever told Paul Hagen of the Philadelphia Inquirer that the team will take the best available player early and will lean toward catching, lefthanded pitching, and middle infielders later. The Phils' first pick is #27.

I think it's time to worry about this team. The offense is horrendous. Utley is a mainstay, a rock, but what the hell has happened to him? Werth's swing is as ugly as I ever remember it being. Ibanez is washed-up. This team may have seen it's window of winning close. C'mon fellas, turn this around!
