Those Pants Are Reason Enough To Taser...

Was there any doubt that Cole Hamels was going to give up hits and/or runs after being distracted by this field-running-jogging douche that interrupted his delivery in the ninth inning. He walked around the mound. Sulked. Talked into his glove. I briefly thought he would be okay after the first two pitches, but then a hanging change and back-to-back doubles had him walking off the field. Classic Cole last night all the way around.

Can We Get A Refund
I saw a report on one of the sports channels last night (it was late, I can't remember which one) where an "insider" said that the Phils could file a grievance and recoup some of Madson's salary because of his chair-kick-toe-break. However, they won't do it due to fear of how it will be perceived by the players and they don't want to create "animosity" in the clubhouse towards management.

Bullshit.

How about animosity for your teammate who put himself out for two months by being an irresponsible, immature little jerk! He doesn't deserve to be paid for the next two months.

Coooooooch

Hamels was great last night. I actually thought he shouldn't have gone out for the 9th at all, but it's hard to pull a guy from a potential CG shutout.

Madson always gave us here at WSBGMs plenty of reasons to dislike him, now we can just flatout make jokes about him every day and have it be deserved.

Cooch is awesome. He's having a great season from the 8-hole, or as Wheels would say it "A-hole".

By the way, Ian Desmond just tied Jayson Heyward and Ryan Howard for the MLB lead in Howards at 2 apiece. All 3 are in the NL East...strange.

I see what you did there.

Is it possible to get an error for baserunning? So that a DH could commit a Howard?

The Dh should automatically be credited with an error for failing to be good enough to put a glove on, than all they have to do is hit a HR and K

The Phils game last night cheered me up as LOST brought me way down. Thanks to Chooch or I'd still be crying like 2009 Cole Hamels.

I need to trade for Jason Heyward
on my WSBGM's Phantasy Team.

He can hang with Howard and Desmond.

Heyward left tonight's game with a sore groin. We all know what groin injuries can do to a player (see Raul Ibanez)

Kendrick knows how to pitch against St Louis. Top win Phils.

Our old rule 5 pick from back when Shane Victorino smokes one again. Seem to be heating up. Just what we need.

With Doc tomorrow this series is looking good.

Phillies!!!!!

Castro came up lame after his hit in the 8th. It looked more than a day-to-day thing. If he gets DL'd that means at least 2 weeks+ of Valdez at SS...oh, hell to the no.
