This former player had some decent seasons with the Phils. He played 2 years in independent ball before retiring from baseball in the late 90's.
The Mets took righty Carlos Monasterios from the Phillies in the Rule 5 draft. Monasterios was one of the crap prospects the Phils got from the Yanks for the Abreu/Lidle package. What a crappy ass trade.
Phils took Ken Herndon from the Angels in the Rule 5 draft, a Double-A starter turned reliever over the last season and a half with some success, but doesn't look like anything special. 26-23, 3.78 ERA, 1.26 WHIP in 387.2 minor league innings, mostly in A ball. Throws right, is 23.
Is the answer Pat combs?
Nope, not Mr. Combs aka P-Diddy aka Puff Daddy aka who-gives-a-flip.

Indeed, it is Sir Wally Ritchie. 3-way tie atop the leaderboard now.

I think Corey and I will start varying post times to give everyone a fair shake...and to promote hourly rereading of our site.
