The Swayze Continues

Okay, look around. Anybody watching? No? Then commence singing:

Oh, my love, my darling...

Am I disturbed for being strangely turned on by this scene?

I think i just threw up in my mouth a little.

When Demi's head was still attached to her body, I was turned on. Now, no.

that one is awesome, but I think Blanton should be the one getting some swayze love after last night. or Utley for that awesome heads-up steal of home.

Do you really want to see our main man Chutley defiled by Patrick Swayze? My answer is "NO".

The Phillies not only need to use these final 18 games to secure a playoff spot, but to get healthy, evaluate what they have, and decide what they will do with the playoff roster.

Starting 8 on offense: Rollins, Vic, Utley, Howard, Werth, Ibanez, Feliz, and Ruiz.

Then 5 more for the bench: Bako, Francisco, Bruntlett, Stairs, and Dobbs.

Rotation: Lee, Hamels, Blanton, Pedro.

Bullpen: Lidge (although he doesn't deserve it), Myers, Madson, Happ, Walker, Romero (assuming he's activated soon), then 2 ?'s. Condrey, Park, Eyre, and Moyer are up for a spot, but the first 3 are hurt, and what good would Moyer really serve in the playoffs if Happ is already the longman in the bullpen.

That's Hot.

I've seen it... I can't un-see it!

Does Bruntlett really come along for the ride? Other than scoring the winning run of the World Series, and the unassisted triple play, what has he contributed to this team?

Andrew said...

What about Durbin? Condrey was activated on Tuesday.

GM-Carson said...

I conveniently forgot about Durbin. His control has been horrible this season, something like 40 walks in less than 60 innings, but he'd be up for postseason bullpen consideration too I suppose.

Oh, Dr. Steve, don't act like you didn't like the Manuel/Swayze loving embrace.

Hamels, Lee, Pedro, Blanton.

nteresting Stats from David Murphy of High Cheese.

In both 2009 and 2008 Lee was significantly better on 5 Days rest,
and Hamel was significantly better on 4 Days rest.

Could be Power and Rest for Lee, Touch for Hamels.

If we Win Tonight Bring back the Swayze magic with Demi please.

if they win tonight, i already have the image done. sorry, no more demi, though.

as for the magic number countdown, we may pull out some older players for those unused numbers.

Larry Bowa gets #10, he's the man. And of course Richie "Whitey" Ashburn will be #1.
