
I can't take it anymore. Jimmy Rollins as a leadoff hitter is simply asinine. Charlie Manuel's refusal to semi-permanently remove J-Stroll from the top of the lineup is blatantly retarded. After his fifth straight hitless game, his batting average has fallen to .211 and his on base % to .254. Yeah, it's like that with Rollins. Except the team he's coming back for and helping win is in triple A.
i know we just won a WS and he's only a couple years removed from an MVP season, but i've always though J-Roll would be a better number 6 hitter, he just doesn't walk enough or hit the ball on the ground
Jimmy needs a rehab stint himself. How about that awful play in the 8th that busted the game open for the Rays. Hey, schmuck, that's Pat Burrell "running" to first. Jimmy is getting on my last nerve.
I've always liked Jimmy, even during the "frontrunner" comment days, but this is getting old.
