Obama Talks Baseball With WSBGM's

Since there isn't much else going on these days, President Obama has been making many special appearances lately. He was on ESPN breaking down the March Madness brackets. And last night he was on Jay Leno's show talking about economies and bowling and such. Since he's been doing so many entertainment guest spots, we reached out to the President and requested an interview. Luckily, we were given a brief phone interview with the commander-in-chief. Here's how things went.

WSBGM's: Mr. President, what do you think of Adam Eaton's time with the Phillies?

Obama
: It was like Special Olympics, or something.

WSBGM's
: Ouch. That's a pretty rough assessment. It was bad though. Speaking of bad, did you see Game 5 of the NLCS last season when Rafael Furcal had two errors in one inning?

Obama
: It was like Special Olympics, or something.

WSBGM's
: No, it was actually the NLCS. So Taguchi pinch hit in that game.

Obama
: It was like Special Olympics, or something.

WSBGM's
: He did ground out to second, but I don't think anyone measured his IQ...anyway, are you throwing out the first pitch anywhere this year?

Obama
: I have been practicing.

WSBGM's
: Great. You threw the first pitch at a White Sox game last year, right?

Obama
: It was like Special Olympics, or something.

WSBGM's
: Don't be so hard on yourself, chief. Last question, have you ever read our blog, "We Should Be GM's."

Obama
: It was like Special Olympics, or something.

F' Duke!

President Obama is a swell guy, but not exactly eloquent. He was right about WSBGM's being something like Special Olympics though.

He has hurt many families in America. He needs to say he is sorry in the public, not to an organization.

In addition, someone who claims to have experienced prejudice and stereotypes throughout life, and has written about them in great detail, should be more sensitive and refined from life's lessons.

Furthermore, Obama claimed he was going to have the world think 'highly' of America again. Will this joke help?

For someone who spoke of equality as a creed. Does this joke match that philosophy?

For someone that said he would stand for all people. Does this stand up for those that participate in the Special Olympics?

The fact is Obama claimed a higher standard. To much is given, much is required.

Obama has just showed us that 'yes we can' destroy what a campaign stands for with a single joke.

During the campaign for the White House in 2008, the media criticized Palin for being ‘common,’ 'not-polished,' 'not-compassionate' and ‘not presidential.’ However, compare Sarah Palins attitude in this video created three weeks ago for the Special Olympics in Boise, Idaho.

You decide the more ‘presidential’ among them. Watch: http://tinyurl.com/ccz6nj
