Sorting Cards

What to do on a rainy Saturday? Clean the house, nah. File the mounting heap of paperwork on the desk, nope. Watch Degrassi in syndication, oh no. Sort through stacks of old baseball cards, bingo!

A Burrell Gold Label rookie...nice.

I hope that card values stay high so I can sell my collection of over 30,000 someday when I'm old.

I have nearly all of those cards except the Burrell.

I was looking over the minor league free agent list and there are a few interesting names out there that would be worth a flier. Victor Zambrano? Jay Gibbons anyone? Rob Mackowiak? Juan Gonzalez and his 434Hrs? Abe Nunez - oh wait bad example. A few ex-phillie hands Chris Booker, Eude Brito, CJ Henry (the key to the Abreu trade), Nelson Figueroa, and many others.
I wouldn't mind taking a chance on a few on the AAA roster as insurance.
