If you're a Phillies fan, then it normally goes without saying that you're a Lenny Dykstra fan. Since retiring from baseball in 1996, Dykstra hadn't really been heard from except for the random chewing tobacco usage reference of MLB players or a '93 team reminiscing. However, it seems that Mr. Leonard Dyksta has been a busy man lately. Just last Thursday Dykstra, or otherwise known as "Nails" or "Dude" was listed in the Mitchell Report...no surprise there. He isn't allowing a little bad press to get in his way of making cash post-baseball though. Lenny is set to help launch the new magazine aptly titled The Players Club. He and some other famous athletes (ex-MLB pitcher Ron Darling, ex-NHL star Wayne Gretzky, and ex-NFL wideout Tim Brown) have supplied money to venture this magazine, with the concept being a piece of literature to assist money making athletes invest and spend their earnings wisely. Take the advice from Lenny, as Dude has multiple lucrative car washes over in Jersey...gotta wash that sewage from NJ off your whip some way.
