Go Schu Yourself

Prepared to be Schu-ed, by the marvelous mustached one himself- Rick Schu of course...

There, now wasn't that fun? Hope you don't feel used like a bang bag from a 70's porno, because you know Rick will give you a call back for a return romp sometime.

If you're not visually impressed by the montage of Schu cards then you're not really a Phillies Phan.

looks like the Wolf Pack is going to San Deigo. According to Ken Rosenthal, the Padres have a preliminary agreement in place with starter Randy Wolf. It'll be final once Wolf passes a physical.

The Phils are the greatest team in the world and homeboy Wolfy signs with SD. Senseless!

Wolf is a pussy made millions and hooked up with ugly chicks. Took 9 fuckin million for nothing while injured, he knew he needs a big forgiving park because if he reaches back too often his arm will fall of. We don't need a traitor like Wolf, he ca go mano - o - mano with Johnny Dammon and trade fav betrayal stories. FU Wolf with no pack.

Wow, I don't ever recall SirAlden being so bitter...breakin' out the F-Bomb!

I would have preferred Randy Wolf over Adam Eaton, but then again I'd prefer myself or Corey pitching over Eaton. I hate Eaton. This probably means Gillick goes harder after Kuroda or Lohse...both are intriguing, but neither excite me.

From Phillies.com- The Phillies must work within a budget at or around $105 million in 2008, which would be among the top 10 in baseball. Given that, Philadelphia has roughly $10-$15 million to spend on the free-agent market.

To review, the Phillies have $68.5 million committed to Pat Burrell ($14 million), Myers ($8.5 million), Jimmy Rollins ($8 million), Eaton ($7.6 million), Chase Utley ($7.5 million), Moyer ($5.5 million), Tom Gordon ($5.5 million), J.C. Romero ($3.7 million) and Wes Helms ($2.1 million), plus they owe $6 million to White Sox slugger Jim Thome.

After salary arbitration for players such as Ryan Howard, Brad Lidge and Jayson Werth, and modest increases for Hamels, Shane Victorino and Kendrick, the Phillies will have allocated $95 million. That leaves about $10 million left to spend.

*God damn that Thome money!!! Only 10 mil left to spend, and the team still needs help in the outfield, 3rd, rotation, and bullpen...sounds like we're looking at Helms/Dobbs at 3rd Werth/Snelling in RF, and some extra crap relievers and JD Durbin as insurance for the rotation- YUCK!
