Showdown- Young Guns

It's the ESPN Sunday Night Game of the Week, Philadelphia Phillies (13-17) vs. San Francisco Giants (16-13). It's a prime time showdown, pinning young ace Cole Hamels ('07- 3 W, 3.54 ERA, 40 2/3 IP, 43 K, 1.31 WHIP) against wonderboy Tim Lincecum in his MLB debut (Minors '07- 4 W, 0.29 ERA, 31 IP, 46 K, 0.74 WHIP).

Who goes down in a blaze of glory?

Just read the last three letters of Lincecum's name.

And how do you say that anyway: "Liken Cum"?

He has homo written all over him. Cole will annihilate him.

After tonight, the world will know the name Cole Hamels.

Have you guys checked out the NEW Cole Hamels Facts??

And Lincecum looks decent so far but for some reason the Flyin' Hawaiian has stepped up his game out on the left coast...things are looking good so far!

WHAT THE HELL??? Victo needs to be playing INSIDE one of those damn arches on the wall, that's what, the 3rd or 4th ball that has gone over his head in this series?

Oh. Not a live game chat then. Later on then!

Hey, Victorino has had a GREAT series! He's a giant killer :)

Wes Helms is a piece of shit. He and Eaton-dick need to go off to Rehobeth Beach together and not come back. Helms gave up more runs than Hamels tonight.

I mentioned this in another thread, but did anyone see the anti-steroid public service announcement on ESPN prior to the first pitch? I laughed quite a bit since it really brought Balco Bonds to the forefront even though he was taking the night off (that and the innuendo that taking roids makes your balls shrink).

A few of my Hamels facts are on the recent 20. I'm a genius, what can I say.

Victorino was amazing in San Fran...dare I say he was a treat?

Gavin Eaton and David Helms would make a cute couple strolling along the shoreline at Rehomo Beach.

Helms can't field, and his hitting sucks too!

Cole is king. At least we levelled the series.

You guys seen the game, unbelievable, phillies is my best team in the MLB. I wish I could go to watch all their games but ticket prices this season are getting very pricy. Brokers made the game hard to attend. Well talking about Brokers. I found a new web site where you can compare Philadelphia phillies ticket brokers, the site is
http://www.ticketwood.com/mlb/Philadelphia-Phillies-Tickets/index.php. Well I hope this will be helpful for you guys. Go Go phillies. Keep me updated Great blog!!!
