My only concern/focus today is with this statement our intellectual manager Charlie Fuqua Manuel made, "the third-base job is an open competition". I hope by "open" he means in case we trade for Hank Blalock or Alex Rodriguez decides to opt out of his contract immediately, because if Abe "No-Hit" Nunez starts I will needing some serious psychotherapy (some think I already do)._________________________________

Pat Burrell's fiancé and proposal pics- http://hollyes.blogspot.com/2006/12/i-was-just-given-incredible-opportunity.html
She's a stripper afterall!
Is she really a stripper? I thought she looked pretty classy!
Must be from Club Risque, not the Pennsport.
Burrell's my boy (he just doesn't know me), so I need to razz him about this engagement. But you're right Chris, she does look classy.
He got engaged? I must not of been paying attention. Maybe now he can settle down and become that #5 hitter we need. He should be more focused now that he won't be looking around. He may show up with injuries consistant of being a victim of domestic abuse. But atleast focused
I'll take helms as the starter at third and Nunez for late inning defensive sub.
From FoxSports- "Abraham Nunez.is not angry, he says, that the Phillies signed Wes Helms with the clear intention of replacing Nunez as the everyday third baseman. He is, he insists, focused on keeping the job. Not winning it. Keeping it. "I don't think I've lost any ground," Nunez said. "That's a good mind-set," said manager Charlie Manuel, who refused to shed any light on which way he's leaning with the position. "Watch the games." Watching the bottom line might make more sense. The Phillies will pay Helms $2.55 million this season. Nunez will make $1.8 million. They signed Helms, a 6-4, 220-pounder with power potential, because they wanted to pack as much righthanded power into the lineup. "It's not going down like last year," Nunez promised. "You're going to see a difference. You'll see. You'll see."
*What the hell is Nunez talking about? He's sucked all but one year of his career ('05) and that year wasn't anything spectacular either.
Burrell is such a stud, while Nunez is anything but that.
I was looking at Burrell's engagement photos, and I'm totally hetero mind you, but I was attracting to him, he is a f'n stud!
*I know I will be catching plenty of flak for that last comment, but whatever.
Voting as of 12:30- Helms 12, Nunez ZERO!
Corey will probably come along and vote Mr. No-Hit just to spite me.
Carson, I too share your attraction. It is nothing to be ashamed of. Embrace it.
Also, look what some dickhead posted on my site today:

Phillies SUCK!!... Let's Go Mets!!
2:34 PM
and his link was to Mets.com. That shitty bitch!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I HATE THE METS!!!!
Three of Charlie Manuel's relatives (aka R-Tards) came and voted for Nunez to start. I was going to do the poll with the only choice being Wes Helms, that would have been pointless but funny.
The Mets are going down this year. Their offense is sweet, but ours is slightly sweeter. Plus our rotation is far superior to theirs.
i voted for nunez on four different computers!!!!! i treat your poll like r kelly treats underage girls...
Deep down, you're a closet Nunez fan, just like your boy R. Kelly.
