If I ever get a chance to hold a draft for a professional wiffle ball team, I am taking Antonio Alfonseca with my first pick. No one would be able to touch a pitcher with 6 fingers in a wiffle ball game.
Another season and another opening day that I'll be watching/listening to the game on the tv/radio rather than at the park. My brother-in-law couldn't score tickets. The server was the busy at 7:30 am, screwed everything up. I was informed that the opening day tix were already sold out prior to today anyway, because season ticket holders gobbled them up...greedy bastards!
I knew I should have sprung for a 6 pack of game this year, but with the baby on the way and all I need to prioritize...damn priorities!

I'd love to get a copy of Kruk's appearances on Letterman. I remember one time they played a montage of Kruker's worst moments including a horrible head first slide attempt that left him 3 feet from the bag and him catching a pop fly trotting in to see the runners circling the bases (since he had just gloved the second out)
